Apple’s iPhone has another bug: users are forced to repeatedly enter Apple ID

According to news on April 16, Apple’s online services have experienced multiple failures in recent days, and it seems that there is a new problem that is bothering users. Several users have reported that their devices keep asking for their Apple ID password. Even if the correct password is entered, the system will prompt login failure.

Some users said the bug caused Apple devices to continually ask for their Apple ID password. In some cases, users were even logged out of their Apple IDs and could not log in again. One user said his Apple TV+ subscription also suddenly “disappeared,” preventing him from using the platform. Downdetector shows that many users are currently having issues trying to watch content from the Apple TV app.

It’s unclear how many users have been affected by the issue. Searching for “Apple ID” on Twitter, most of the users who report the problem are from Brazil and Japan, so there may be only a few regions affected by today’s outage.

A review of Apple’s System Status webpage reveals no mention of any issues affecting Apple IDs.

Earlier this month, Apple’s Weather app experienced multi-day outages, and on April 5, multiple Apple online services were inaccessible for hours.

In addition to iPhone mobile phones, some users also said that their Apple TV + subscriptions also “disappeared suddenly” and could no longer use the platform normally.

At present, most of the users who report encountering similar problems are from Brazil and Japan, but Apple officials have not indicated that there are any problems affecting Apple ID in the above regions.

At present, Apple officials have not made any response to this issue.
