On March 28th, the Xiaomi SU7 officially launched, successfully igniting the industry. According to the latest terminal (insurance) data from the first week of April, Xiaomi SU7 sold 1,093 units, making a promising start. It’s worth noting that Xiaomi began official deliveries of the Founder’s Edition on April 3rd, and the first week coincided with the Qingming Festival.

For reference, the weekly sales of some core competitors of Xiaomi SU7, including the Model 3, Zeekr 001, and Zeekr 007, were 519, 2,625, and 450 units, respectively. As delivery schedules vary among manufacturers, this data only reflects the situation for that week, and the final outcome will be clearer by the end of the month.

Following the launch of Xiaomi SU7, Xiaomi Auto officially announced significant pre-orders, with over 88,898 units secured within 24 hours. According to the company, pre-orders placed before April 30th will enjoy free configuration upgrades. In terms of deliveries, the standard and Max versions of Xiaomi SU7 started in late April, while the Pro version will begin deliveries in late May.

On April 3rd, in response to production capacity bottlenecks, Xiaomi stated that its auto factory is striving to increase production capacity, mobilizing the supply chain partners to ensure stable delivery and expedite existing orders while handling future orders in an organized manner to guarantee a satisfactory delivery experience for customers.

As deliveries of various models progress, it is anticipated that Xiaomi will achieve even better results in the second week and by the end of April. Let’s wait and see.
